Are you a Corporate Accountant/Bookkeeper seeking a new opportunity?

Our client in Downtown Toronto is currently seeking a Corporate Accountant/Full charged Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate for this position will have experience with full-cycle accounting, supporting payroll (50 employees), month, quarter, year-end, balance sheet preparation, financial statements preparation, high volume reconciliation, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities:

-Overseeing and assisting with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
-Ability to prepare financial statements and assist with year-end audit
-Preparing and processing inter-company reconciliations, adjustments, preparing journal entries, and balancing the General Ledger (month, quarter, year-end)
-Maintaining the trial balance and preparing balance sheet
-Preparing & operating budget control, P&L statements, cash flow variance

Requirements:

-CPA designation or pursuing
-Minimum of 4 years of experience
-Advanced knowledge of a large ERP software system (JD Edwards, Great Plains, SAP)
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
-Ability to work independently
