Responsibilities
Work directly with three law firms
Responsibilities relating to acquisitions such as reviewing, summarizing and drafting of due diligence materials
Assist with closing materials with respect to real estate transactions
Review financial documents from lenders and gathering supporting documents
Work closely with lawyers in forming and organizing general and limited partnership entities and reviewing limited partnership agreements
Manage corporate records such as corporate database and minute books
Schedule board meetings and draft and file board resolutions
Develop and maintain electronic filing systems to ensure continuity and record-keeping
Review and summarize offers and agreement of purchase and sale agreements
Qualifications
Bachelors and Paralegal/law clerk diploma
Minimum of 5 years of experience in this type of position
Experience in capital markets or/and real estate is a strong asset
Strong managerial, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to coordinate and manage different groups of people
Must be a quick learner and have diligence and attention to detail while also being able to meet tight deadlines
