Position: Forklift Operator - Counterbalance (Propane)

Duration: SEASONAL with potential of permanent hire
Salary: 25/hr ($0.60 afternoon premium, $0.70 night premium)
Location: Viscount Road - Orlando Drive (near Airport Road)
Must be available for all shifts. Rotating every 2 weeks
Day - 7:00 am- 3:00pm
Afternoon - 3:00pm - 11:00 pm
Night - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Responsibilities
90% on the forklift
Operate forklifts and/or related machinery in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.
Conduct trailer inspections, load and unload full good trailers
Clean the shipping area as required which includes mopping the PIT area, garbage disposal, emptying the cardboard bins, and all other cleaning duties as assigned.
Relieve on the production lines for breaks as per relief schedule and line operator requirements.
To bring to the attention of management and or Inventory Control, any discrepancies in inventory accuracy in the inventory management system SAP.
Active in assisting the site to continuously improve efficiency, and performance, and reduce downtime and waste.
Promote enthusiastic, positive, and proactive attitudes and team-based behaviors.
Commit to successfully achieving the goals and objectives of the team, the department, and the company.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High School Certification
3-5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
Experienced in SAP
Valid Forklift certification.
Approximately 3+ years in a fast-moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience preferred.
Good interpersonal & communication skills, both written
Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical issues.
Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Formal training in areas such as WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene etc. preferred.
