Are you available to cover a compassionate care leave for a minimum of 2 months? Do you have at least 2 years of experience with credit, collections and cash applications? If you are able to commit to a minimum of 2 months and up to 6 months to cover this contract need, please apply today!

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Negotiating with overdue accounts to arrange for payment collection as well as investigating, resolving or negotiating solutions to problems
- Referring to supervisor or external collection agency those accounts from which payment collection is difficult
- Monitoring customer ordering and payment transactions and remaining alert to any signals or trends
- Preparing reports; providing backup for colleagues in the credit department as required
- Processing credit card payments
- Reconciliation of accounts on a weekly basis
- Ensuring credit limits are consistently monitored
- Requesting adjustments based on sales, payments-
- Taking daily deposit to the bank when required; other duties as assigned.
- Creating and maintaining credit history files
- Identifying delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts

- An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related area is preferred
- Minimum 2 years in a similar position
- Cognitive knowledge of Credit policies and procedures
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
