regards to a wide variety of subject matter related to the Credit Department
- Provide prompt and courteous service in compliance to the Credit Department’s
Policies and Procedures
- Work in conjunction with other departments or the organization to continuously
improve the order to cash cycle
- Actively participate in team-based work groups

Responsibilities
- Maintain and continually assess payment risk and client credit worthiness for your respective portfolio of accounts through customer evaluations in a timely manner
- Provide financial order management support to the Sales and Marketing personnel to control credit exposure i.e. Analysis of orders prior to releasing
- Ensure client account information is valid and up to date: Credit files, Collection files, bank references, trade references, credit bureau reports, e-mails, telephone messages, and any other relevant information or documents
- Collect returned payments for delinquent accounts
- Monitor the aged trial balance and take necessary action to ensure that the
open items are current
- Recommend sending delinquent accounts to our third-party collection agency
- Assist in month end reconciliation of accounts by preparing Journal Entries
- Collaborate with local and off shore teams
Qualifications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work in both an autonomous and team work environment
- Ability to stay calm under high pressure situations
- Being able to make sound unbiased decisions based on facts
- Being able to respond positively to instructions and procedures
- Good analytical skills, and intermediate spreadsheet knowledge
- Detail-oriented
- Multitasking skills
- Time management skills & prompt decision making skills
- Reliability: personally responsible; completes work in a timely, consistent manner
- Accountability/ ownership/ practices
- Good Judgment skills
- Proactive attitude
- Able to challenge conventional practices

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (completed or in progress, in Finance or related field)
- Fluently Bilingual in French and English and third language is an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in Credit/Collection is an asset
- SAP knowledge is an asset
