Interested in working alongside a team of underwriters and credit assistants? Do you have previous mortgage experience and have excellent communication skills? Our client, a Top 5 Bank, is looking for a Credit Assistant for a 3 month contract in Markham! This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door within the banking sector and has the potential to become permanent!

Pay Rate: $18.24/hr
Shifts:
- Rotating Shifts Mon-Fri 8am-8pm Sat 8-4pm
- Shift could be 8 to 4 or 9 to 5 or 12 to 8 and Saturday 8 am to 4pm.
- 1 late shift possibly 2 per week and rotation is 1 in 4. Subject to change.

Job responsibilities of a Credit Assistant:
- Adjudicate compliance for mortgage sales force
- File auditing
- Ensure audit compliance is being met
- Review mortgage documentation (proof of income, real estate appraisals, down payments etc...)
- General administrative tasks
- Provide thorough resolution for any processing issues

Qualifications
- 2 years consumer Mortgage experience
- 2 years customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized and attention to detail

Nice to have:
- Bilingual in French and English
- Familiarity with french or chinese languages
