Interested in working alongside a team of underwriters and credit assistants? Do you have previous mortgage experience and have excellent communication skills? Our client, a Top 5 Bank, is looking for a Credit Assistant for a 3 month contract in Markham! This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door within the banking sector and has the potential to become permanent!

Pay Rate: $18.24/hr
Shifts: (Rotating)
8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturday. Shifts will range from 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm, 12 pm to 8pm. Saturday shifts are rotational as well (once every 3 weeks or so)

Job responsibilities of a Credit Assistant:
- Adjudicate compliance for mortgage sales force
- File auditing
- Ensure audit compliance is being met
- Review mortgage documentation (proof of income, real estate appraisals, down payments etc...)
- General administrative tasks
- Provide thorough resolution for any processing issues
