Are you a finance professional with previous experience working in the banking or financial services industry? Have you been responsible for reviewing and managing credit and credit risk within a large corporate environment? Are you looking for a new opportunity to continue to develop your skills? We are currently looking for a Credit Risk Review Analyst to support our client, a leading financial services firm, in their Downtown Toronto office. In this role you will work full time hours on a 3 month assignment, and earn a rate competitive within the field. Reporting directly to the AVP, the Credit Risk Review Analyst is part of a team of professionals whose primary purpose is to:

• complete independent and objective reviews of any credit transactions:
• ensure the integrity of the internal risk rating process, including scorecards and platform;
• update credit risk policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines;
• ensure appropriate meeting materials are prepared and circulated; and
• keep the list of broker dealers used by the organization up-to-date.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in a credit risk environment
• Undergraduate degree in Commerce or Business
• Work experience in credit risk preferred, but not essential
• Firm grasp of lending credit principles and the financial industry;
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely;
• Excellent ability to work in a team environment;
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the confidence, credibility, and ability to work effectively within the organization;
• Highest level of professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency with the ability to work successfully with minimal supervision;
• Demonstrated ability to use MS Office (MS Word and especially Excel).
