The customer order clerk is essential to the smooth operation of the company. The candidate will have various tasks to perform in order to ensure optimal service to our customers.
Working as a custumer order clerk for our Montreal-North company will allow you to balance your family life with your personal activities since the schedule is flexible and it is possible to work some days from home.
The schedule is from Monday to Friday (3 days minimum in person)
Start time can vary between 7:30 and 8:30 am. In general, employees are on duty from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities
The customer Order Clerk is responsible for:
- Receiving and executing the entry of all orders received by phone, fax, email and Alligacom system into our computer system;
- Reconfirming to the buyers each order received (price and delivery date);
- Print each order and give them to the shipping department;
- Respond to customer and representative requests as soon as possible, as well as resolve or refer problems to the appropriate resource persons;
- Validate production quantities with the production planner;
- Assist with invoicing;
- Assist with accounts receivable, as needed;
Qualifications
You are an efficient, versatile individual with a reputation for providing customer service above and beyond expectations. In addition, you have these skills and experience
- High school diploma;
- Bilingual French and English, spoken and written;
- Basic accounting and customer service experience;
- Ability to organize and manage several files simultaneously;
- Thoroughness and accuracy in data entry;
- Good knowledge of the WINDOWS, OFFICE, NAV interface;
- Good interpersonal skills and diplomacy;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Ability to listen;
- Able to work in a team;
