Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
- Process orders from customers
- Maintain records of all customer service transactions
- Retrieve data (i.e. account information) from system
- Review customer orders to ensure accuracy and special requests before transferring orders to the warehouse for picking and shipping
- Assist customers with standard account-related requests
- Provide information about service availability, charges and service conditions
- Advise customers about inventory and order/shipment status
- Research and resolve customer discrepancies, acting as the customer liaison between departments when necessary
- Collaborate closely with other departmental staff to coordinate account activities
- Update the warehouse management system messages regarding transactions
- Invoicing customers
- Dealing with drivers and providing excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in similar industry / role (Warehousing, Shipping, Logistics)
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) in both English and French
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong multitasking and prioritize skills
