Customer Service Representative in Burlington

We are looking for outgoing and well-spoken Customer Service Representatives for a 1 year contract position in Burlington. The successful candidates will be working with an established, well-known Utility provider and this opportunity can lead to a full-time, permanent position.

The ideal candidates will have past experience working within a customer service department or call center. Daily tasks will include handling inbound calls from customers, data entry, and assisting with inquires related to billing, policies, and collections. Experience within Utilities, Electrical, Power, and telecommunications industry would be an asset. The successful candidate will join a fun, energetic team that works hard and plays hard.

Job Duties

- Providing customer service over the phone and email
- Handling high volume inbound calls from customers
- Helping customers with inquires related to billing, policy and procedures, and collections
- Process service orders for new connects, disconnect, and making changing to accounts
- Assisting engineering department with data entry
- Ensure information is gathered to complete applications, deposits, high bill complaints, bill corrects, etc.
- Ensuring company standards are being met or exceeded
- When needed, assist with Collections and Cash Desk
- Other duties as needed

Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience working within a customer service position or call center environment
- Experience problem solving issues related to billing, policies and procedures, and collections
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with a CRM and working within a metrics or KPI driven environment is an asset
- Must be able to work within a team environment
