Responsibilities
The tasks of the customer service representative in Saint-Eustache:
- Enter customer orders into the computer system.
- Work closely with the production planning department, ensure that the delivery date requested by the customer is respected.
- Follow-up of orders in order to proactively inform customers of any production delays affecting their initial request.
- Regularly check out of stock products (orders) and update the system to reflect new availability dates.
- Send communications to customers (e.g. price change letters).
- Maintain the database (customer contact details, up-to-date price lists).
- Prepare customs documents for shipments to the United States.
- Plan the transport of certain goods by communicating with transport companies and following up.
- Create new customer accounts in the system (credit investigation).
- Prepare the return of goods and plan the transport of these products.
- Send product samples to some customers
- Ensure that open POs are closed at the end of each month.
- Other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service in a manufacturing environment
- Bilingualism required
- Knowledge of ERP software (an asset)
- Comfortable with the MS Office suite, mainly Excel
- Good team player
- Good stress management
- Ease in a fast-paced environment
