Responsibilities
The Senior Data Analyst – Performance Analytics is responsible for working closely with SSC and Field Operations team members for the maintenance and creation of data, dashboards, and reports. They must work closely with these various stakeholders to understand their evolving information needs and build a tangible data strategy for addressing these needs on an ongoing basis, all while operating in an AGILE manner.
1. Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with business partners to identify challenges, process improvements, and provide data to drive operations decisions. This includes summarizing and presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
2. Data Management – Intricately understand the various data systems and databases that exist in the network. This includes monitoring source databases and end user reports to ensure data accuracy and keeping up to speed on data sets sourced from global teams to ensure data continuity.
3. Data Extraction and Visualization – Query data, and build data visualizations of varying degrees of complexity in tools like Tableau, Tableau Prep, SQL, GCP. The data visualization should be updated in an automated way at varying frequencies – hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.
4. AGILE (SCRUM) – Manage the execution of their job responsibilities in a bi-weekly sprint operated in a SCRUM fashion. This includes story creation, acceptance criteria management, story management, and proper story pointing.
5. Business Requirements Gathering – Work closely with SSC and field operations stakeholders to intake their data needs, and subsequently build a tangible requirements document that translates business requirements into a data spec document.
6. KPI Management – Support the creation of and validate key performance indicators for central operations. Obtain current available data to create a standardized reporting process that can be utilized nationally for central operations, as well as ensure full automation of all KPI metrics and reports.
7. Training and Onboarding – Work closely with target audiences of reports and dashboards in order to train these users out on how to extract information and insights from the various tools built for them.
Qualifications
Experience in SQL, Tableau
Experience working as Data Analyst for minimum 5+ years
