We are looking for a Data Analyst for a 3 month contract in Calgary to start. . Do you love data? Is your philosophy the more data, the more complex environment the better? Do you like to solve problems? Work in an environment that is fast paced and leading edge? Then this role may be for you!

About the Client:

They are a large Calgary business who is focused on innovation and changing the way their industry works.

What you will do in this role:
• Determine and implement Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions that service business and analytic objectives.
• Provide guidance, consultation and operational support to clients on their Data Management needs in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment

Skills required for this role:
• Experience with any of the following: SAP BI, SAP Data Services (preferred), Informatica
• Experience in relational databases such as DB2, SQL Server Practical experience in Unix or Linux Skills & Experience
• 5+ years experience with data warehousing, both in development and support areas In-depth knowledge and experience in business intelligence (including concepts and methods)
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data architecture and BI principles, practices and methodologies
• Understanding of information management
• Understanding of OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing).
• Experience with Scrum and Agile Development

• Excellent team work, collaboration and communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Constantly seeking process improvements

Additional Skills that would help you win this role:
• Experience with Java, JSON, Python and Big Query
• Experience with Google G-suite
• Experience with Business Intelligence front end reporting and analysis tools (preferably SAP BusinessObjects)
