Our public sector client is looking to contract a Data Specialist for an initial period of 1 year to assist in implementing their Data Strategy and assist in the Informed Service Delivery project.
The Tasks required for the data specialist include but are not limited to:
• Migrating and maintaining SQL databases

• Make updates and changes to database tables.
• Transform data from enterprise applications (JD Edwards and ESRI)
• Maintain service lists (functions, processes, process elements etc)
• Make updates and changes to dashboards as required by business needs
• Support IT in Power App functionality and design parameters
• Trouble shoot queries
• Update data from primary sources at defined intervals
• Liasie with AM Project Team and Power users and provide briefings to IT
Advantages

• Track record in PowerPlatform (desirable)
• SQL Server experience (desirable) – Network and Infrastructure
• Familiarity with other existing applications such JD Edwards, ESRI, MS Azure (desirable)
• Familiarity with municipal IT services and systems (desirable)
• Asset and Financial data familiarity an asset (desirable)
• Process and workflow definition (desirable)
