Our client in the GORMELY area is looking for 1 reliable and punctual delivery driver who will also be supporting with general labour tasks by preparing the equipment prior to be delivered and supporting the rest of the team.
Straight morning shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
If you are still on the road and/or working after 3:30 will be paid as OVERTIME.
Great hourly rate to start from $22-23/hr depending on experience can be consider more.
Yard environment and dusty, must be comfortable in working in similar environments
You must live locally to make sure this position works for you long term (Gormley - Stouffville area)
You will be driving a "Flatbed truck"
MUST have experience with medium size delivery trucks (Large U haul's) to be considered for this opportunity, and other large size construction vehicles.
NOTE: Uber delivery experience and normal size vehicles will NOT be taken into consideration.
Clear driving abstract, and valid G license are required.
Company vehicle will be provided for daily deliveries

Responsibilities
- general labour tasks such as assembling, disassembling, cleaning, sorting, restocking fittings
- make pick-ups and deliveries as scheduled with great attitude and customer service as the face of the company
- ensure that equipment and materials coming and going from the yard will be tracked according to inventory management processes
- collection of packing slips, maintenance records, and inspection sheets to submit to the Accounting Technician and Yard Supervisor, and complete paperwork
- handle, count, pack, and unpack as part of the material handling work;
Qualifications
- clear driving abstract
- valid driver's license and experience driving vehicles up to 5 tons
- previous experience in yard work is consider an asset
- experience working with dewatering, fluid handling, plumbing or piping equipment is a strong asset
- experience in construction is a strong asset
- able to commit to overtime if needed and to do general labour work
- MUST have a vehicle, the location does not have transit
- punctual, reliable and looking to be part of a company that considers everyone as family
