Responsibilities
Class 1 Commercial Driver : This role is typically for hauling large commercial loads (e.g., long-haul, bulk transport, specialized freight). Safely operate tractor-trailers, perform pre/post-trip inspections, manage cargo securement, complete daily logs/paperwork, and maintain communication with dispatch.
Class 5 Delivery/General Driver: This role is typically for local pick-up/delivery routes, operating lighter vehicles, vans, or straight trucks. Safely operate company vehicles (up to Class 5 weight limits), manage local route delivery schedules, provide excellent customer service, and assist with loading/unloading.
Qualifications
Class 1 Drivers: Valid Class 1 Driver's License (or equivalent).Mandatory Document Current Commercial Driver's Abstract (N-Print) dated within the last 30 days, demonstrating a clean and safe driving record. Experience Minimum 5 of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred. Additional Knowledge of relevant transportation regulations.
Class 5 Drivers: Required License Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or equivalent).Mandatory Document Current Driver's Abstract (P-Print) dated within the last 30 days, demonstrating a clean and safe driving history. Experience Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience preferred.
