We are pleased to offer you this new and exciting CONTRACT requirement with our client for the position of:


-Start: ASAP
-Estimated length: 3+Month
-Location: Halifax NS

You are Deskside Support/Deployment Technician and looking for your next contract in Halifax:
-You have knowledge and experience regarding:
-A+ Certification
-Standard Microsoft Toolset
-Experience supporting users, new desktop setup, day to day support, Windows Deployment experience (Windows 7 to Windows 10 is an asset)
-PC Hardware experience, PC Software Microsoft Experience
-Communicate with end users regarding their computer replacement
-Physically set up and replace computers, monitors, docking stations, etc.
-Transfer user files and settings between computers
-Maintain documentation and inventory records
-Monitor and update IT tickets
-Follow written instructions for the setup, deployment, and reclaiming of computers
-Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues
-Ideal if you have your own transportation

This role requires that you are able to lift computer equipment (30+lbs)
You are able to easily bend down, crawl and move around easily without any physical restrictions in order to complete the tasks

You must currently have been in Canada for 5 years and qualify for a Controlled Goods Security Clearance (CGP)/Enhanced Reliability Clearance
