If you have a passion for video, we have a Bilingual Publisher Engagement Manager role available with our client, one of Canada's largest technology software companies.Advantages- Work for one of the worlds largest technology company- Work from Home- 12-month contract- Monday to Friday- Competitive payResponsibilitiesAs Publisher Engagement Manager, News, you will serve as an ambassador to the news industry and support the regional leader’s efforts to grow relationships with news publishers and associations across the Canadian news ecosystem, partnering on priority issues to drive good outcomes for the client and the industry. This will include supporting efforts to build joint business plans with key associations, developing sponsorship/engagement plans, and prioritizing our engagements. It is a unique role that allows you to work across the many teams that support the news ecosystem, aligning the client's products, tools, training, and programs to the priorities of the industry while ensuring the specific needs of the Canadian market are being met. The role necessitates working closely with cross-functional internal teams like Sales, Product, Policy, Marketing, Partnerships, and Comms, to drive progress, build consensus and communicate perspective to external partners.We are looking for a highly collaborative individual with a proven track record of working with executives, driving operational processes, and working cross-functionally to lead change and drive impact. Someone who is an excellent communicator with an eye for executive communications. And ideally someone with an understanding of business development and partnerships. You’ll have an opportunity to work on some of the most important issues facing the news industry todayQualifications- 4+ years working within the news industry, industry relations, partnerships, corporate communications, go-to-market strategy or sales- BA or BS degree.
