Responsibilities
The job duties include:
- Delivering first and second-tier technical assistance via the IT Help Desk, processing help desk requests received through voice or electronic means, and addressing tickets/requests.
- Installing, resolving issues, and conducting standard equipment moves/adds/changes for IT tools like desktops, laptops, mobile devices (e.g., iPhone and iPad), desktop phones, printers, - scanners, and other peripherals.
- Diagnosing phone/fax, VPN/internet problems at on-site offices, and offering remote desktop application support to both office and on-site users, managing sessions/profiles as necessary.
Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for an ideal candidate:
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution. Holding a Microsoft MCSE Certification is considered advantageous.
- A minimum of three years of experience in increasingly complex and accountable roles, comprising:
- Two years of expertise in supporting desktop workstations and related peripherals.
- Two years of experience in delivering first-line user support (help desk).
