    Position : Diesel Technician
    Schedule : Monday-Friday flexible, 8 hours between 7am--5pm
    Salary : $22-$26/hr based on experience
    Location : Ottawa
    Industry: Equipment Repair and Maintenance

    Are you mechanically inclined, experienced with hand tools, and enjoy troubleshooting mechanical issues? Do you have experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing diesel engine equipment? Do you want to join a company that focuses on teamwork and professional development? If you’re an experienced diesel technician or looking for an opportunity to become one while working in a shop, this could be for you!

    Advantages
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday flexible, 8 hours between 7am--5pm
    • Salary : $22-$26/hr based on experience
    • Advancement and training opportunities
    • Overtime after 44 hours
    • 6 paid sick days per year
    • 2 weeks vacation to start (flexible)
    • Benefits including medical, vision and dental fully paid by employer
    • RRSP matching up to 4%

    Responsibilities
    • Inspect equipment to determine required maintenance and repairs
    • Perform maintenance tasks such as checking and changing fluids
    • Follow all health and safety procedures when maintaining and operating machines
    • Complete paperwork as required
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

    Qualifications
    • Previous experience as a diesel mechanic
    • Ability to diagnose and repair construction equipment
    • Strong customer service experience
    • Hold a valid driver’s license
