Our client, a leader in the food industry, is looking for a Business Analyst for an initial contract starting ASAP to the end APRIL 2020. We need someone who has worked on Digital/website projects and has some technical background (Should be able to work with Wordpress Content Management systems)


Responsibilities:
- Responsible for documenting clear business requirements across multiple different business functions.

- Translate and document business requirements into detailed functional, non-functional, technical specifications, user stories and use cases. Provide development teams with clear business requirements.

- Work with developers to define system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry standards

- Lead multiple cross-functional meetings with technical and business stakeholders.

- Collaborate with the Project/Product Owners to validate business requirements, and with Technical Architects to ensure that the business requirements are met in the technical solution and within the scope of the project

- Researching third-party tools and providing a recommendation

- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 business & system process support for business applications

Qualifications:

Must-have:
- Proven proficiency with Digital platforms and web technologies

- person needs to have experience working with the user community to understand what functionality the website needs to encompass

- - tech background - - person needs to have technical skills that include Wordpress and familiarity with Content Management systems

- System analysis experience, hands-on testing and requirement gathering experience

- Experience in use case modelling is required

- Agile methodology (scrum or kanban)


- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Requirements Analysis... Ability to identify and allocate requirements, prepare BRD documentation and/or system analysis documentation with flowcharts, use cases, or user stories.

- Keen ability to run with tasks independently.

- Must have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication skills are a must

Preferred:
- Familiarity with common content management systems, such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc.;

- Familiarity with code repository hosting solutions such as Github, Bitbucket...etc.

- Familiarity with Jira/Confluence.

- Backend ERP systems knowledge/experience, preferably SAP.

- Experience in the Retail industry or eCommerce is a nice to have (but not mandatory)
