Director, IT Security Monitoring and Incident Management
The Director of IT Security Oversight and Incident Management is responsible for overseeing the IT security infrastructure, managing incident response and conducting security investigations. He works as a technical leader and strategist while having the ability to get involved in practice.
The person responsible for computer security surveillance and incident management reports to the Director of North America, Security and Network Operations and manages a technical team made up of technical experts, consultants, engineers and architects. security spread across multiple sites and time zones.

Main responsibilities:
• Provide 24/7 support for security monitoring of all IT operations and infrastructure
• Collaborate with internal teams to interpret, understand and communicate the real business risks related to technological risks.
• Implement new technologies by participating in the assessment of tools, software and technological practices, and help implement the controls to mitigate operational risks.
• Manage the response to cybersecurity incidents and ensure that a well-defined, documented and tested action plan is in place in the event of a security incident.
• Maintain and update all security tools, technologies and processes
• Provide fast and efficient communications to key internal stakeholders
Your skills :
• General to advanced knowledge in the following areas: computer networks, operational security platforms, information security principles, SOC, IAM, MFA, SIEM, ITSM, DLP, IPS, application development, technical writing, information risks and international environment.
• Bachelor of Technology Science, Information Security (an asset)
• At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in information technology
• At least three (3) years of information security experience
• Knowledge of standards, regulations and law governing information security (NIST, COBIT5, ISO 27001) an asset
• Basic knowledge of US cybersecurity standards (23 NYCRR 500, 201 CMR 17)
• General knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Possess a recognized information security certification (CISSP, GIAC or other) an asset
• Analytical mind, pragmatic approach to IT security issues and problems
• Strong leadership capacity to facilitate collaboration within the team
• Strong partner in all areas, internally and externally, to provide a secure solution
• Ability to reduce stress in stressful situations for oneself and for others
• Positive attitude, initiative spirit with strong analytical and interpersonal skills to lead working groups, negotiate and build consensus
• Mentoring skills, coach to develop the team within the company
• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to compose and present material to communicate difficult concepts and build consensus
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple objectives
• Highly motivated and autonomous, with particular attention to detail
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
• Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively at all levels of the organization
