Responsibilities
• Oversee execution of processes by Operations Manager, Regional Manager and/or Program Managers.
• Oversee human resource planning and hiring strategies with HR Director and Operations Manager and ensure onboarding of staff being adequately completed by administrative and technical staff.
• Responsible for overseeing all engineering activities and ensuring qualified staff are completing works to industry and regional standards.
• Overseeing development, implementation and enforcement of standardized design processes and practices being utilized.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 10 years of geotechnical consulting experience.
• Registered P.Eng or P.Geo.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take charge.
• Knowledgeable and experience with pavement design, shallow foundation design, Deep foundation design, Materials testing, Concrete, soils and asphalt laboratory testing, Geotechnical modelling software, Tunneling, Geo-structural detailed design (shoring systems, micropiles, helical foundations, etc.), Slope stability and Geotechnical monitoring and instrumentation.
