- Some afterhours and on-call work required during busier seasons
Responsibilities
- Coordination and optimizing delivery schedules
- Sourcing carriers for best prices and rates
- Scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments for drivers
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients
- Updating customer web portables with up-to-date information on deliveries
- Responding to email and phone for freight requests
- Ensure all billing and driver information is accurate
- Sourcing new clients and carriers
- Bringing in new business opportunities
Qualifications
- Solid communication skills verbal and written English & French
- Minimum of one year experience in the transportation(trucking) industry.
- Knowledge of FTL and reefers are an asset
- Ability to be a self starter and work with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, assertive with the ability to function independently
