Advantages
Permanent full time position Tuesday to Saturday
Shift 10:30 am to 7:30 pm
Salary ranges from 57-62k depending on experience
Insurances paid 100% by employer
2 weeks vacation (possibility of more dependent on experience)
5 sick days
5 personal days
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight to customer locations
- Timely and efficient dispatch to ensure that a high service is maintained
- Planning and execution of line haul movements both outbound and inbound
- Maintain discipline with our contractors and agents
- Communicate with drivers at defined intervals to manage service expectations and identify problems
- Track and trace of intermodal units via CP rail and CN rail portals
- Resolve and respond accordingly to calls from customers as well as the customer service groupo
- Monitor assets to ensure that equipment is utilized
- Work with operations team in respectful manner
Qualifications
Minimum 1-year work experience in related field in Dispatching
Exceptional communication skills in English, French is an asset
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Knowledge of dispatch software Truckmate is a plus
Customer Service oriented and personable.
Organized and reliable.
