Randstad Victoria is now looking for a part-time dispatcher for a client in the Langford/Sooke area.

Opportunity: Temporary contract, 2-3 days a week (potential to work from home after training)
Location: Langford/Sooke
Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8-4:30 pm
Pay rate: $19
Start: As soon as possible


•Schedule and dispatch plumbers to different work sites
•Coordinate and modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers.
•Monitor any sudden changes with plumbers and establish new routes for timely deliveries.
•Assist driver with routing directions and communicate proper execution.
•Communicate with plumbers on a regular basis.
•Update customer web portals with up-to-date load information.


•1-2 years of experience in dispatch experience is preferred
•Excellent verbal and written communication
•Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively
•Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects
•Positive attitude with good people skills
•Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software.
