Advantages
- Permanent full time position Monday to Friday
- Shift is 5:00pm to 2:00am, 1 hour unpaid break
- Salary ranges is from 55k to 65k depending on experience
- Insurances paid 100% by employer
- 2 weeks vacation (possibility of more)
- 5 sick days
- 5 personal days
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight to customer locations
- Timely and efficient dispatch to ensure that a high service is maintained
- Planning and execution of line haul movements both outbound and inbound
- Maintain discipline with our contractors and agents
- Communicate with drivers at defined intervals to manage service expectations and identify problems
- Track and trace of intermodal units via CP rail and CN rail portals
- Resolve and respond accordingly to calls from customers as well as the customer service groupo
- Monitor assets to ensure that equipment is utilized
- Work with operations team in respectful manner
Qualifications
College Diploma, preferable related to Transportation & Logistics, an asset
Minimum 1-year work experience in related field.
English with a functional French or vice-versa
Experience with Truckmate is an asset
Customer Service oriented and personable.
Organized and reliable.
