Dispatcher

Randstad Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join a growing team in the transportation industry in the South East area of Winnipeg on a full-time permanent. As a Dispatcher, you will be dealing directly with drivers, arranging the delivery and pick-ups, and maintaining communication with retail customers.

Responsibilities
- Assigning and dispatching transportation activities and retail store deliveries, back-haul pick-ups, etc.
- Assisting with records, reports, and control systems
- Ensuring routes are assigned and delivered as scheduled
- Be the key contact between drivers and retail customers
- Maintain and update databases, relevant KPIs, and daily reports
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma and previous Dispatch or logistics experience is an asset
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the warehouse and transportation industry
- Must have the ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a team
