job description

We are looking for a Skilled Service Technician to deliver customer service brand and work in all areas of on-site service and repairs, installation, commissioning of pedestrian doors throughout the Vancouver mainland.

As part of the Service Team, you'll enjoy tackling service projects on your own or with a supportive team!

This is a permanent full-time position Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm located in Delta, BC

Duties:
• Installation, service, repair, and maintenance of Industrial door product range & associated equipment
• Complete service tasks within costs, time and quality standards
• Assess electro-mechanical faults and provide solutions
• Work with site supervisors to complete repairs or installs
• Complete documentation as per company and industry standards.


Qualifications
• You have a focused attitude, are able to converse and Mechanical knowledge and fault identification skills
• Experience with Hydraulics and electrical
• Certification in Millwright/ Welding/ Technician or 4th-year apprentices
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Dock leveler experience an advantage
• Knowledge of health & safety operations
• Electrical Qualification or Reconnect /disconnect desirable

• Excellent customer service and communication skills on many levels
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team
• Ability to adhere to and achieve strict deadlines
