The position requires an e-documentation completion, health and safety training, confidentiality agreements, background verification and reliability clearance. This means that you will need to get fingerprinting completed for the role. You will have to pay for the fingerprints, however, Iron Mountain will reimburse you for the fingerprints after your first week of working with them. To know more about it, please visit Reliability Clearance Canada.
Although you may be offered the position fairly quickly, you cannot start in the role until the reliability clearance has cleared, this could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
Working in a warehouse environment lifting and moving boxes to and from the doc prep area. Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning and document preparation. Scan hardcopy files to electronic images. Assuring a quality image and performing quality control functions. Perform document preparation tasks. Indexing, Packaging and Release of product. Follow production procedures and complete internal documentation & tracking. Adhere to Imaging Center guidelines of maintaining a clean work environment. Perform scanning task on complex conversions utilizing specialized equipment, high speed equipment and/or flatbed scanning. Other duties, as specified/assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Work Environment: Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work. Must possess strong problem solving ability, acceptable change and long durations of project assignments. Ability to work independently with minimal Supervision.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a data entry/imaging environment preferred. Proficiency in reading, writing & communicating in English. Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and Management. Strong understanding of imaging quality measurement techniques and processes. Understanding and ability to perform data entry with speed and accuracy, release and packaging functions. Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to detect, document and correct quality issues.
