do you like working with documents and numbers? do you enjoy being on your feet rather than sit all day? we are currently seeking a document processing clerk for a temporary part-time position (monday-tuesday 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm) for a reputable client in downtown winnipeg. the position does not have an end date and has the opportunity to turn permanent for the right candidate.

the document processing clerk is responsible to provide support by performing specified duties which include the process of client documentation according to outlined processes. the document processing clerk will work in a team to ensure that all quality & service levels are consistently met and exceeded.

duties and responsibilities:

- performing and documenting standard prescribed quality checks
- efficient and accurate completion of reports and statement sorting
- efficient and accurate completion of customer document packaging for distribution via courier
- operating pressure sealing equipment in print area as required
- maintain high level of quality service ensuring accuracy in the process
- adhering to all implemented quality control processes required for payroll processing
- ensuring accurate recording of volumes
- perform other duties as assigned

- pays $14.00/hr on a weekly basis
- 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm monday & tuesday (extra 3rd day, twice a month)
- 4% vacation pay added to every check
- located downtown (no free parking available)
- benefits package available at a reduced rate
- opportunity to turn permanent

- experience in a production line will be considered an asset
- ability to stand through the shift and maintain accuracy
- must be able to pass a criminal background check (we will conduct/pay for it)
- must be able to provide at least two supervisor/managerial references that you reported to from positions listed on your resume
- motivated team player who is also able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
- ability to organize and collate checks, statements and reports by alphanumeric company names/codes.
- ability to organize and or prioritize workload for normal and peak periods to meet or exceed productivity standards and service level commitments.
- basic computer skills, ability to enter /search for data and navigate using a mouse.
- detail orientated, able to recognize any defects/issues as they arise and report.
- able to work in a stressful and deadline driven environment.
- ability to communicate effectively
