A industry-leading construction materials manufacturer in Ottawa is seeking a dual ticketed Industrial Electrician and Millright or will sponsor third or fourth year apprentices who are in the process of completeing their second ticket.
Advantages

Responsibilities
•Identify, Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, PLC’s and Variable Frequency Drives
•Work with other trades and production operators to meet production goals and minimize downtimes
•Conduct inventory of electrical parts and supplies
•Complete all work orders and document all repairs completed
•Participate in continuous improvement activities and identify potential electrical issues
Qualifications
•Must be a 442a Industrial Electrician with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a building manufacturing environment
•Ability to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of various electrical systems and read electrical and engineering drawings
•Ability to work in a hot indoor environment a few hours at a time per week
•Previous experience working with Allen Bradley PLC is an asset
•Familiar with industrial and electrical safety codes and regulations
