Responsibilities
Implement, configure and develop components of core enterprise applications
Gather and analyze business requirements and create reports for system design and development
Translate business needs into application and operational requirements
Document current and desired business processes to ensure optimal efficiency
Create field mapping between D365FO and other systems
Interface with internal customers to manage expectations and resolve issues related to enterprise applications
Execute assigned tasks within a structured project environment
Serve as an in-house Subject Matter Expert supporting our Dynamics 365FO platform
Provide best practice, out of the box, and solution alternatives as a part of the Functional and Technical Design Documentation
Provide level 3 support on D365FO financial modules as required
Qualifications
Completed Post-Secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or related areas OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Certification in Microsoft Dynamics AX and D365 is a strong asset
5+ years of experience with implementation & support of Microsoft Dynamics AX 365 Financial modules
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Finance and accounting best practices knowledge.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
Experience with database technologies such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL
Experience in working with teams operating in Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience in developing and optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports
Summary
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will also use their collaborative and relationship building skills to better understand business and client needs in order to provide recommendations to improve the current operations and procedures. Additionally, they will work closely with the business and internal stakeholders to gather information and synthesize findings into business/functional requirement
