We are seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter for a well established client of ours in the Vancouver area.


-Prepare design drawings for electrical design in accordance with industry standards utilizing REVIT and/or CADD (Microstation and AutoCAD).
-Assisting with drawing reviews and drawing templates.
-Liaise with clients, engineers and project managers.
-Other related tasks assigned based on individual project requirements.
-Carry out detailed calculations to ensure that designs meet engineered standards and applicable codes.
-Project management functions including estimating, scheduling, monitoring and reporting progress.
-Responsibilities may include supervision of junior staff and review of work by others.


- A diploma in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Design & Drafting Technology from an accredited school.
-Certified or eligible for certification with ASET
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industry as a design/drafting technologist
-Proven proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD or Microstation
-Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
-Strong skills in organization, working under pressure, ability to multi-task, ability to meet deadlines, and working as a member of project teams.
-Design/Drafting experience related to primary secondary power systems in Industrial and Commercial Facilitates is highly desirable.
-Experience in street lighting and signals is desirable
-Must have a valid Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
