Do you want to work on product development project from concept to final production?
Do you have experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, CSA & ANSI drawing standards?

What will you be doing in this role?

This is an exciting permanent position for an Electrical designer in Ottawa. You will be developing medical device products from concept to full production drawing.
• Design layout and schematics for new products and manufacturing documentation.
• Review and maintain and improve existing designs
• Work in partnership with others engineer to develop and test prototypes and for products launch
• Understanding of PDM and configuration management concepts
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Familiarity with CE mark requirements, Canadian Electrical Code
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, CSA & ANSI drawing standards
• Familiarity with Rockwell PowerFlex 525 and GuardLogix products


What do you bring to the role?

Minimum 3 years of Electrical design experience including schematics and layout
Bachelor degree in Engineering
Experience using Autocad 2D and Solidworks 3D
Experience working in a small team with R&D
