The position is an Electrical Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Support for all plant safety initiatives.
• To instigate studies and actions to resolve technical problems, reduce waste and improve team performance.
• To monitor, together with team members, process performance in order to identify areas for improvement and coordinate and/or lead all corrective
actions as necessary.
• To assist with electrical improvements through TPM, P.M., and Capital Expenditure Projects.
• To maintain/update electrical and site drawings through the preferred CAD package.
• To assist in the commissioning of new plant and equipment and other systems to ensure that the introduction into the production facility is handled
efficiently and within minimum disruption.
• Lead studies and actions to improve the efficiency of the plant facility service area and maintain plant assets.
• Allen Bradley PLC programming
• ABB Robotics
• Control systems (i.e. VFD boards, PID controllers, etc.)
• Automated glass inspection systems
• To guarantee that process standard corresponds to the plant’s objectives, costs, and supply in order to meet the needs of the customer.
• Adherence to Companies Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles.
• Some travel may be required, less than twice per year may be required.
• Initiating and following up on plant cost savings ideas

Must have:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
2. 5 to 10 years related experience in a manufacturing environment (glass manufacturing preferred)
3. Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng.)
4. Power Distribution Experience.
5. Strong ability with AutoCad applications.
6. Allen Bradley PLC programming experience.
7. Strong computer skills (All MS Office programs)
8. Superior problem solving, must be analytical and detail-oriented
9. Excellent communication and human relation skills. Also well developed interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
10. Must be able to work independently and past experience should demonstrate achievements supporting a results-oriented focus and use of
leadership skills.
11. Self-Motivated Individual is capable of multi-tasking and working well under pressure.
