Our client has partnered with Randstad Engineering in the search for a talented Electrical Engineer P.Eng to join the team in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have 10 years experience in commercial or institutional building construction projects.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting Project Managers with project completion
• Working with clients to develop solutions and see projects through conception to completion
• Commissioning during construction of commercial and industrial projects
• Assisting with the preparation of proposals and developments of estimates
• Completing site reviews during construction
• Mentoring junior engineers

As a qualified Electrical Engineer, you meet the following requirements:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering
• Must hold a valid license to practice engineering in the Province of Ontario (P.Eng)
• 10 years electrical engineering experience within commercial and industrial buildings
• Experience designing power distribution and emergency power distribution systems
• Experience designing communication, life safety and lighting systems
• Building Sciences experience is a MUST have
• LEED certification and project management experience an asset
