We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with Electrical Background for an exciting staff opportunity with our client in the Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and Operations Manager OR Project Managers as needed. The position will look after both stationary and rotating equipment for oil & gas equipment across Alberta and British Columbia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
- Responding to breakdowns
- Diagnosing faults
- Repairing equipment
- Supervising engineering and technical staff
- Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
- Managing budgets
- Maintaining statistical and financial records
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Creating maintenance procedures
- Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
- Create findings and recommendations reports
- Provide current asset owners with information collected for historic filing
- Responsible to update and maintain equipment asset reviews
- Other duties as required by Maintenance Manager


- Professional Engineer registered with APEGA or EGBC
- Extensive experience with O&G equipment maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance
- Ability to analyze equipment bottlenecks and downtime reports
- Must be willing to travel to site as required
- Class 5 drivers license with clean abstract
- Self Starter
- Demonstrated history of being able to work independently

This is an office based position, however some travel to site will be required from time to time as needed.
