Randstad Staffing Winnipeg is currently hiring an Electrical Security Field Technician for a permanent position with a well-respected security company in West-Winnipeg.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Providing clients with technical services and after-sales service
- Servicing for CCTV, Fire Monitoring, Card Access and Intrusion Monitoring
- Attending service calls from customers around Winnipeg
- Repair of defective equipment
- Participating in training sessions to maintain a high level of skills and knowledge
- Working with dispatchers on routing and status updates
- Ensuring your vehicle is equipped with all supplies and equipment to complete orders
- Completing site surveys, installations, relocation's, removals and reconfiguration's as required using both hand and power tools
- Perform inventory counts

Qualifications
- College Diploma (DEC) in Electronics or related studies required
- 1+ year of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician/Cable Technician, Home Alarm Technician
- Experience with security software an asset
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and correctly
- Ability to work on 24 hour-on-call rotation every 2 weeks (including weekends and holidays)
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
