Position : Electrical Technician

A company that specializes in home products is looking for a Lighting laboratory technician or electrical technician to join their team at their office in Lachine. The company in question has been around since 2004, they continue to create and sell new innovative home products to over 20 different countries. Location – Lachine.

The proposed salary is between $41,000 to $58, 000 a year, from Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm (flexible schedule), 2 weeks’ vacation, 4 sick days, gym on site, and benefits after 3 months.

Main Responsibilities:
• Installation of lighting fixture, plumbing accessories and racking
• Performs basic lab procedures
• Keeps work area clean, neat and organized
• Responsible for organizing inventory
• Process clients returns
• Performs product inspections and tests as required
• Assemble and disassemble show booth and other marketing displays
• Some travel required
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
• Electric Genie Technique or a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Experience in electrical wirings, light fixture installation
• Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Have a positive attitude, be dynamic and responsible
- Have good work ethics, team player
- Open minded

Qualifications
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
- Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook and Word
- Experience in other ERP, UPS, FEDEX systems
- Ability to work in tight deadlines, multitasking, establishing priorities
