Responsibilities
• Conducting maintenance on site equipment
• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and addressing electrical repairs for all equipment within the designated area
• Handling emergency breakdowns efficiently
• Assisting in analyzing root causes and preventing future downtime incidents
• Facilitating effective communication during shift transitions, work order updates, production meetings, and coordinating activities with other shifts
• Collaborating closely with operators and various teams across the site to minimize downtime and mitigate safety and quality risks
• Demonstrating exceptional troubleshooting abilities to resolve challenges in high-speed production lines and a rapidly automated environment
• Carrying out daily assigned tasks
Qualifications
• MUST currently possess a valid 309A Construction Electrician OR 442A Industrial Electrician Red Seal license
• Motivated, positive attitude, with high energy and initiative
• Drive for Improvement
• Knowledge of PLC and control systems specifically Allen Bradley
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with the operational process/packaging equipment in the Food and Beverage industry
• Knowledge and experience using computerized maintenance management systems for submitting work requests, closing work orders, logging hours and logging spare parts usage
