Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Job Description: The Electrical Project Engineer is primarily responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and providing technical support and carrying out the electrical design on multi-disciplinary projects working directly with the Business Development, Sales, Operations and Technical Service teams to develop and commercialize existing and new product lines.

Responsibilities
• Design new downhole and surface devices
• Use data and calculation to make decision and validate assumptions
• Direct projects to achieve technical and commercial goals while producing efficient and cost effective results
• Determine project specifications and project budgets
• Supervise and/or create accurate and clear manufacturing drawings and manufacturing process for timely and accurate parts
• Create, supervise, and ensure safe testing procedures are followed, and monitor, document, and analyze test results.
• Assist and lead field trials of new tools and procedures
• Develop mixed-signal (Analogue/Digital) electronics designs to interface sensors & transducers

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) status, registered with A.P.E.G.A
• Experience with Embedded C, Python, and PCB design (Altium)
• Experience working with software design tools such as Labview, SPICE, SVN
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites

Requirements
• Successful candidate will require a completed Criminal Background Check
• Safety sensitive positions will require additional pre-employment testing
• Must reside or be legally eligible to work in Canada.
