Randstad Engineering is seeking an Engineering Manager on behalf of our Client, an international manufacturer of specialized medical devices. The incumbent Candidate will work in tandem with a highly skilled Engineering team to deliver innovative new products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide project oversight and design reviews while driving the team to meet or exceed new product launch targets;
• Participate in continuous improvement to support better product lifecycle management;
• Collaborate with other teams (Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs) to enhance product development and launch;
• Ensure that all products are developed to meet regulatory requirements;
• Coach, motivate, and mentor subordinates;
• Scheduling and organization of staff, including leave administration and responding to headcount requirements;


• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related)
• P.Eng designation (or eligible)
• Minimum of 10 years of product development experience (medical devices or consumer products that combine mechanical, electronic and firmware elements)
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• Experience with plastic components design for injection molding
