As a Enterprise Architect with our client, you’ll receive:

Responsibilities
• A minimum eight (8) years of work experience as a solution or enterprise architect on large scale projects or equivalent.
• Deliver architecture plans using artifacts such as architecture visions, definitions, roadmaps, solution blueprints, design decisions, and guidelines for multiple, high risk, complex, medium to large scale projects and/or initiatives to support business operations in achieving organizational objectives.
• Provide ongoing technical expertise, oversight, and leadership to solution architects and other subject matter experts throughout the project and/or initiative life cycle to continuously develop future capability.
• Develop policies and standards for key technological platforms; manage exceptions in a consistent and informed manner to ensure alignment of architectural elements across the organization.
• Identify, assess, and communicate risks, contingencies, issues, and mitigations pertaining to architecture, security, and other technology dimensions; assess solution options and provide recommendations so that projects and/or initiatives are implemented as planned.
• Identify opportunities to maximize the return on IT investments through optimized architecture and prudent technology selection while keeping abreast of technology standards and best practices to continuously improve architectural processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and application and infrastructure service providers to gather, evaluate, set solution requirements and constraints, and reconcile solutions with business challenges so that projects and initiatives are completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
• Build meaningful relationships by communicating the objectives, requirements, status, and other details of assigned projects and/or initiatives using excellent business acumen, analytical, problem solving, and facilitation skills so that relevant information is distributed across the organization accurately and on time.
Qualifications
-At least six years of experience in designing and deploying IT systems related to Physical Security
-Experience in developing business architectures, strategies and IT roadmaps
-Experience in working with electric utilities and NERC CIP compliance
-Knowledge and experience with the Physical Security software systems mentioned above as well as other leading products available in the market
-Knowledge of industry standard reference models and architecture frameworks
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to have
• Certificate in Technical/Solutions Architecture, SysOps, or Development – Associate level, an asset,
Professional level preferred
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Master’s degree in computer science or related field, an asset
• Certificate in Technical/Solutions Architecture, SysOps, or Development – Associate level, an asset,
Professional level preferred
