Responsibilities
Enterprise Software Support
·Provides Tier 2 technical support for our client's enterprise-level software.
·Performs operational support by receiving incidents and tasks through our Service Management Software, ServiceNow.
·Performs user administration on multiple applications and maintains a sustainable model for application access.
·Documents newly learned support knowledge into our internal knowledge base and mentors other team members.
·Extracts data from enterprise software using various types of reporting tools.
·Enable system-wide parameters or settings by performing system configuration.
·Plays a key role with the software upgrade process.
·Liaises with software vendors to resolve software issues and roadmaps the future state of the software.
Programming and Development
·Creates and maintains stored procedures, scheduled jobs and notifications, and performance tuning as it relates to reports development.
·Develops and maintains reports and uses vendor specific tools and MSSQL Reporting Services tools.
·Programming in JavaScript
·Supports 3rd party software bridges.
·Ensures data security, privacy and integrity procedures are adhered to.
Qualifications
Expert level operational and technical skills in:
·One or more of the following enterprise software packages:
o Enterprise Resource Planning – Currently Unit4 Business World
o Service Management – Currently ServiceNow
o Student Information System – Currently Thesis Education Management Software
·One or more of the following Reporting Tools:
o Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
o Microsoft Power BI
•Experience with maintaining and creating workflow
Additional assets:
•Knowledge of ITIL and IT security best practices, ITIL certification;
•Familiarity with Financial and HR business processes: budgeting, taxes, payroll, etc.
•Experience working in Higher Education environment.
