Our client in the London area has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Health and Safety Leader/Coordinator to join their team! As a Health and Safety Leader/Coordinator, you would be responsible for supporting the Canadian manufacturing operations and their efforts to improve safety processes.

In this role, responsibilities include:
• Serve as primary contact for Environmental Health and Safety compliance issues for Canadian facilities.
• Conducting safety audits
• Develop safety training materials
• Assemble and distribute safety related metrics/reports focusing on performance, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Track plant corrective actions associated with safety audits
• Travel to individual plant locations to offer support for their safety programs.
• Ensure safety policies meet federal, provincial and local requirements.

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
• 5+ years of safety experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with multiple locations
• Well versed in Canadian Safety Standards
• Post-secondary education in related field
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
