What you’ll be doing?
As an ERP Functional Analyst with our Downtown Vancouver client, you will:
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sage X3 modules.
• Work with key stakeholders to support the Sage X3 application; ongoing maintenance and roll-out of new modules and organizational entities.
• Acquire knowledge of company business processes as required to provide support.
• Work collaboratively with internal/external IT professionals to provide support for application maintenance, modification and enhancement through problem solving, testing, reports development and documentation.
• Work with business users and application developers to identify bugs, recommend, prioritize and implement enhancements.
• Communicate with stakeholders (written and verbal) to ensure support issues and project tasks are dealt with efficiently.
• Provide training on financial processes in relation to the system.
• Develop/execute test plans and assemble/document test results when required.
• Liaise and collaborate with various international offices and internal departments.
• Assist in the design and deployment of internal control policies.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required by management.
• Document and implement process changes and improvements.

How do you qualify?
• University degree and some accounting experience/training/certification.
• 5+ years’ large-scale ERP experience (SAGE X3 preferred) or SAP, MS Dynamics AX, Oracle Financials.
• Strong business expertise; ability to ensure technical solutions, strategies and practices.
• Experience implementing / supporting finance Functions, manufacturing Functions and inventory Management.
• Experience with ITIL or similar frameworks (Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management and Software Development Lifecycle.
• Broad understanding of Information Technology functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to effectively document business and technical designs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable training individuals or groups in a “train-the-trainer” setting.
• Team-oriented, ability to build relationships effectively.

What additional experience do you bring?
• Experience in a startup environment.
• Experience using Sage SEI Report Writer tool or similar (Crystal Reports, SSRS, PowerBI).
• Knowledge of software requirements for the auditing of financial systems and procedures.
• Professional Designations (CPA, SCMP, PMI-PBA).
