Do you have 1+ years of experience working as an Event Coordinator and are eager to apply your skills within a topy 5 Bank? Do you have strong Excel skills and are comfortable workign with an executive audience? If so we have the role for you!

We are currently looking for an Event Coordinator for our banking client for a 3-month contract!

Pay: $21.65/hour

Hours: 8:30-5:00 pm Monday to Friday

As an Event Coordinator your main job duties include but are not limited to:
- Management of registration process
- Venue/vendor sourcing, contracting and negotiations based on specified budgets
- Reporting data leading up to event and post event (registration and completion reports, no show and cancellation reporting)
- Researching to maximize participant experience, improve efficiency and solidify the brand.
- As assigned by event manager manage daily expenses and provide summary tracking of same as set by sponsor
- Timely and accurate processing of invoices and follow-up on any discrepancies
- Contribute to project team meetings
- Help with room set up and registration desk at the event

Must have:
- 1-2+ yrs of exp. as an Event Coordinator
- Ability to support on-site events which may require working variable hours driven by the...
- Comfortable with an Executive Audience
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Post secondary education
- Strong Excel (V-look ups, Formulas)
- Strong problem solving skillls (i.e. if food doesn't arrive at an event, what would you do?)

Nice to have:
- Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications or other relevant designation
