Our client, a leading professional services institution is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work a 3-month assignment in downtown Montreal. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week at a rate of $20.50 per hour.
This position often requires the handling of sensitive information with professionalism and integrity. As part of our dynamic environment and team you will feel a strong sense of accomplishment as you develop your technical, interpersonal and administrative skills as well as see your efforts contribute to meeting the needs of our clients. •The opportunity to provide advanced level support in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as serve as the Microsoft application expert to our client teams
•The preparation of PowerPoint presentations, reports and other written documentation/communication
•The opportunity to work directly with our consultants on a variety of client deliverables
•Meeting/event coordination and preparation
•Ensuring quality control/proofreading/editing

•Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

•Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and customer service skills
•Strong organizational skills, with proven experience prioritizing work and coordinating several projects at one time

•Flexibility: able to adapt to different people and work assignments
•A strong focus on detail and accuracy of work
•A learning orientation
•Strong interpersonal and project/time management skills
•Ability to communicate openly and effectively both verbally and in writing
•Strong technical aptitude; Oracle experience a plus, but not required
•Proficiency in MS Office, with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft certification a plus
•Experience in a professional services environment
•Experience providing administrative and coordination support to multiple parties simultaneously
